Our settlements in Sanchez v. Agri-Mix and Perez v. Mateut have been recognized by The Recorder legal newspaper and VerdictSearch in the publication “California’s Million-Dollar Settlements.”
Sanchez v. Agri-Mix involved our client, Fernando Sanchez, who sustained life-threatening injuries after he was impaled by an improperly secured pole gate. During our investigation, it was revealed that a third-party contractor had left the gate open, and that long hours without appropriate breaks had contributed to his fatigue. We were able to successfully prove this, and obtain a $3 million verdict in favor of Mr. Sanchez while protecting his workers’ compensation benefits.
Perez v. Mateut involved the family of 72-year old Martin Perez after he died during a trucking accident. We successfully proved his death was a result of an illegal maneuver by the other driver. This wrongful death case set a record because of the age of the decedent.
